Jeff Abrahamson is co-founder and data scientist at London-based Jellybooks, where he is responsible for data discovery and machine learning. Jellybooks helps publishers understand how readers interact with books. Prior to Jellybooks, he worked at Google, where he was a senior engineer. Jeff has over 20 years of experience coding and working for both start-ups and large corporations like Goldman Sachs and Google. He has a Ph.D in machine learning and computer vision and an undergraduate degree in mathematics from MIT. His academic work has focused on object similarity in the context of computer vision, graph theoretic solutions to optimization problems, and energy minimizing structures. He has worked on the Human Genome Project (both on the science and on the infrastructure), for various startups, and for a few large banks.
