How can we introduce children to coding, robotics and AI?

It is tremendously important that the new generations will be familiar with Artificial Intelligence, not only as passive consumers or manipulators, but as technical experts and critical thinkers. This education to AI might seem a difficult task as one would expect that highly complex notions need to be conveyed. Yet I will present a solution based on a learning robot and on graphical interfaces that makes machine learning and artificial neural networks quite concrete and affordable. The approach favors intuitive manipulations, but far from dismissing the need for a solid education in mathematics and other classic disciplines, aims on the contrary to foster new appetite for them.
