Franck GASCARD

After more than 11 years working in the IT sector, first for IBM then the fast-growing IT service company he started himself, Franck Gascard developed a high level of expertise in the recruitment of technical profiles as well as a thorough knowledge of the IT job market and its key players.
An entrepreneur at heart and never short of new ideas, one morning in 2010 he once had a radical brainwave ( at the time!) : « what if IT skills were to become the rare ressource that everyone will soon be fighting for » along with « what if recruitment agencies were not only dedicated to sales executives and managers »
A few google searches later Franck decided to follow the steps of American head hunters specializing solely in the IT sector. This was how Externatic was born and quickly became one of the very first IT recruitment companies in France.

Amongst other activities, Franck Gascard works with public services needing expertise in the assessment of candidates’ potential and their salary expectations or with national or international businesses looking to settle in a new area.

Since 2015 Externatic has been publishing a yearly chart of salaries in the IT sector, which has now become a point of reference for the West of France. The 2019 version of this table will be presented at this year’s Web2day for the first time.
