2018 saw a number of articles decrying the environmental impact of Bitcoin. This talk will look at the issue from a different angle: we’ll discuss how energy-efficient crypto-currency is, what opportunities this provides, and lastly how Bitcoin’s environmentally-friendly side can change our perception of the economy as a whole.
