React Native in fintech, good or bad idea?

Not so very long ago, developing a mobile app required mastery of two specific development platforms for Android and iOS. But in recent years, new tools have emerged to unify the development of mobile applications. Among them is the solution promoted by Facebook: React Native. React Native’s promise: real native Android and iOS mobile applications based on one single React source code. So, have they kept their promise? We have developed mobile apps for FinTechs, in competitive sectors and with tight deadlines, all relying on React Native. We will use our experience on these projects to present the main features of React Native, its advantages and the difficulties we have encountered.
